Some cards I made today

Hello again,

I have been playing with my movers and shapers dies today, I bought them last Christmas but had been today I would have to have a crease pad before I used them. I decided to just wait to see if the pads became cheaper as I think they are very expensive, well today I thought why not give it a go without the pad and GUESS WHAT? it works just as well without it.

Card 1 - My daughter bought me the flowers as part of my Christmas present.

 Card 2 - On this one I just turned the die around to see what it would look like.

Card 3 - I used some spare flowers I had made and decided to use the off-cut squares in the inside of the card. I'm still not sure on this one.

My magic pots - I was given a large box of 60ml clear pots and lids, so I had a good sort out and now all my brads and gems are sorted into colours and stored tidily in the box my daughter gave me for Christmas.

ATC Wallet

I have received some very beautiful creations from some lovely friends on Docrafts over the past 12 months.

We each took a turn at setting a theme, unfortunately I didn't think to make myself an ATC for each month to add to my collection, but I guess I could make one now that I've thought about it.

I did make one for the last posting but I can't put it on here yet as the eight cards and a little surprise are about to wing their way across the world and all over the UK.

Some of the photographs are not very clear but I will try to take more soon.

Time For A Tidy Up

Hello again,

Well today I decided that my poor old blog was looking pretty unloved, so I found another really pretty background, took off the Advent Countdown and my Virtual Cat.

Hopefully soon I'll be able to post pictures of my December ATC's and the packaging I have made to send them in, as the people who they are for might pop in to have a peek at this post I'd better wait until they have them to be able to put pictures up.

We've had a pretty quiet Christmas with just the four of us during Christmas Day, but the boys arrived later that night and were very excited by their new presents. They will be here again in a while so I'd better go and sort out something for us all to eat.

It's Snow Joke

I'm fed up of the white stuff sprinkled everywhere.

I find it hard to understand how anybody can get excited about it and ........... we've had far too much of it this year already.

I still have a few more things to buy before the weekend, mostly shopping I think I'll finally be organised by Firday evening.

The boys will be here late on Christmas Day, so we'll have our Christmas on Boxing Day - they have said they're staying for 100 days, this is according to George, who is 4, but I think 4 or 5 days will be ok.

Thankfully tonight is haircut night - I look like a scarecrow!!! I rang my hairdresser and said 'I'll understand if it's too snowy to come out' she said ' No, the main roads are fine' so by tomorrow I think I might look human again.

Well I ought to get back to sorting my house out ready for present wrapping later.

If I don't get time to post again soon have a lovely and peaceful Christmas and I wish you all a Healthy, Happy and Crafty New Year

It won't be long til Christmas

I thought I'd join Sall in getting the Christmas ball rolling.

So I pottered around the net looking for Christmas countdowns and found a lovely nativity one.

As of today it's only 68 days until the big day.

I'd better get my thinking cap on for pressies to go to Santa for the little ones.

October Challenge

Over on Docrafts it was my turn to set the challenge theme, I chose the following criteria:-

The title should be 'Life is a puzzle sometimes .'

You can use any colours you like, but please try to keep it to 3 main colours

i.e red, yellow orange or cream, blue, green

1 photo but you can use this as many times as you like !

It can be a single or double LO.

Any embellishments you want to add must be home-made (i.e die-cuts, shrinkles, tags etc)


Here are some photos I took of my LO - I used the 'puzzle' option and turned 1 picture into a puzzle and downloaded a free puzzle font for the title.
