Sunday 27th September 2009

Another win at football for my big grandson's team, today was a  hard fought match but the boys played well together.
My darling was defense for 1st half and in goal for the 2nd. He let in a penalty but almost saved it, he had his hand on the ball but it just rolled over the top of the other hand bless him.
The middle one starts football training next weekend in the under 6's - he's such a tiny scrap but really fast on his feet. His first whole week of school has knocked him out poor mite.
Meanwhile the littly has had 2 days in Nursery and goes back for 2 more this week before starting all morning every day the week after, he's grumpy cos he can't go in sooner.
No crafting for me again, too busy trying to save mod roc masks that the children in my enrichment afternoon have been trying to make. Oh and making named leaves for the reading tree.

Thursday 24th September 2009

Well another week is almost over!
Since I've last had time to blog we've had Hubby's, Daughter's and middle Grandson's birthdays. We went to Legoland to celebrate them and I got a very wet bottom!
I've had a bout of vertigo, I really hate the spinning rooms but it has almost gone again thankfully.
Work is really busy and by the time I get home, get sorted and relaxed I'm too tired to craft :( Still it's not that long until my next crafting leave :)

Sunday 13th September 2009

Today was my eldest grandson's first match of the season.
And what a match it was, they won 11 - 0.
Last year started well for them but they all got hit by the flu bug one after the other, and they only had enough players to just make a team each week.
The poor little lambs lost so many games and got so disheartened it was heartbreaking to watch them each week, but then they won a game and it was fantastic to see their spirits rise.
Today they charged onto the field and owned it for the whole game. My Harry was in defence for the 1st half and in goal for the 2nd - not that he had much to do!
The goalie on the other team did a great job though, as the boys were all over him, he barely had time to get back to his feet before they were at the goalmouth again.
Hopefully they'll win loads of games again this season, and on the thought my middle grandson Reece wants to join the under 6's he's such a tiny scrap but so fast on his feet.
That just leaves George and we'll need something for him to do, he's only 3 and thinks he can do everything the other 2 do.

Friday 11th September 2009

Another week has just whizzed by and not a sniff of crafting has happened here.
I'm so tired at the end of each day, all I can manage to do is snooze all evening.
I suppose it'll be ok in a few weeks when I get used to all the new things but before we know it Christmas will have been and gone and we'll all be trying to lose weight for the summer holidays!

Have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing xxxx

Friday 4th September 2009

Oh my what a week!
I feel as though it's half way through the term already and the children have only been back for 2 days!
The first 2 days were spent putting furniture back into newly painted rooms, then we sorted out the other classrooms and made displays.
For the past 2 days I've been trying to do assessments on children ready to start their individual interventions - I need to organise my resources (another job to tackle this weekend)
I really don't know where the time has gone this week. Still my OH, DS and 2 GS's have gone camping for their final road trip of the year, it'll soon be too cold to go again.
I'm going to be sorting out my work over the weenend and hopefully getting some crafting done too.
Have a lovely weekend and Happy Crafting xxx

Tuesday 1st September 2009

Firstly I'd like to apologise to Maria for confusing her with the date of yesterday's posting, I have amended it now Maria xxx

Well today was just so exciting, we went back to work and updated the aims, values etc of the school as we are required to do annually.
Then it was time to sort out the classrooms, finish (or in my case start displays) and stick on book labels etc.
I really could do with a few more days holiday as I  don't feel that I've managed to do everything that I wanted to.
Still there's only 5 weeks and we'll have a week off :) I can craft all day every day again.
I spent most of yesterday either napping or making birthday cards for family birthday's this month.
Back to work means early night so I'd better get on and finish the work I've brought home, I need it to finish the displays tomorrow.

Happy crafting xxxx
